    Is it the same as
    "Chris will be promoted - I'd put money on it".

    There was no money with him.

  11. Despite means inspite of and hence in the usage of despite the of is redundant.In terms of meaning there is no difference,the difference is in terms of usage.

  12. ma'am in the 1st Q how does 'with' go with 'still'? don't we say 'even with' or is that just verbal/slang english?
